You don’t need another system telling you to “quit your phone.”
And you definitely don’t need guilt.
I made this tracker because I wanted to sew and create more - and realised I couldn’t actually tell if I was doing that.
So instead of rules or resolutions, I made something simple that helps me notice.
How much time I spend making
How much time I spend scrolling
Day by day, without pressure
What this tracker is (and isn't)
This is not:
🧵 A productivity challenge
🧵 A “no scrolling” rule
🧵 A way to shame yourself
This is:
🧵 A visual way to see your habits clearly
🧵 A gentle nudge toward creative time
🧵 A tool for awareness, not perfection
Some days you’ll scroll more than you make. That’s okay.
How it works
A printable tracker covering three months
Each day has two circles: one for making / creative time one for scrolling / socials
Use the colour key to mark:
5 min · 10 min · 15 min · 20 min · 30 min · 45 min · 1 hr · 1.5 hrs · 2 hrs · 2.5+ hrs
Over time, patterns appear - and small shifts happen naturally, without forcing it.
Why I love it
Using this tracker hasn’t made me “more productive.”
It’s made me more intentional.
I still use social media. I love seeing what you make and being part of this community.
I’m just not getting lost in it as often - and that’s made space for sewing, reading and quieter moments.
